NGT Lifts Stay on Sand Mining in Madhya Pradesh - (19 Oct 2015)

National Green Tribunal (NGT) has lifted stay imposed on river-bed sand mining in Madhya Pradesh but not on 61 mining leases where State Environment Impact Assessment Authority had already imposed prohibition on mining of sand during monsoon period of July 1 to October 31.
