Courts Can’t Sit As An Appellate Authority To Examine UPSC Selection Committee Recommendations: SC - (16 Apr 2018)

SC while observing that courts cannot sit as an appellate authority or umpire to examine the recommendations of Selection Committee of UPSC has said that the recommendations of the selection committee cannot be challenged except on the ground of mala fides or serious violation of statutory rules.
