SC: MoEF Free to Clear Hydel Projects in Uttarakhand Except Alaknanda-Bhagirathi River Basins - (14 Oct 2015)

Supreme Court while providing a major relief for Uttarakhand over Hydro Power Projects dispute, has made it clear that Environment Ministry was free to approve hydropower projects in Uttarakhand, except in Alaknanda-Bhagirathi river basins.
