NGT Slams Major Refinery for Encroachment on Wildlife Corridors in Kaziranga's Non-Development Zone - (12 Oct 2015)

National Green Tribunal (NGT) has slammed Numaligarh refinery in Assam for violating forest laws and blocking encroaching on wildlife corridors in Kaziranga's no-development zone and asked refinery to submit number of trees they felled, planted and the mortality rate of these trees.
