Supreme Court: Media Must Fully Enjoy Freedom of Speech and Expression - (10 Jan 2018)

Supreme Court, while endeavouring to protect freedom of speech and expression enjoyed by the media, has said that minor errors or enthusiasm in reporting on a scam or alleged involvement of certain individuals will not amount to defamation, even if it had been held to be constitutionally valid.
