Rajya Sabha Passes Indian Forest Bill, Excludes 'Bamboo' from 'Tree' Category - (28 Dec 2017)

Rajya Sabha has passed Indian Forest (Amendment) Bill, 2017, which excludes bamboo from the definition of "tree".
