UIDAI: No Subsidy Diversion Without Aadhaar Holder’s Informed Consent - (22 Dec 2017)

UIDAI has directed the NPCI not to allow override request pertaining to an Aadhaar holder unless it is accompanied by the name of his current bank on the Aadhaar Payments Mapper and confirmation from the requesting bank that it has obtained the requisite consent of the Aadhaar holder.
