SC Issues Tough Guidelines to Give Lawyers 'Senior Designation', Interview Must - (12 Oct 2017)

Supreme Court has laid down criteria for Senior Designations which will be applicable to all High Courts and the Supreme Court. "Conferring senior advocate designation will no longer be the sole discretion of judges. A permanent body will interview applicants (lawyers)...", said the Court.
