Supreme Court to Government: Think of More 'Peaceful' Ways of Execution Than Hanging by Neck - (06 Oct 2017)

Supreme Court has urged the Government to think of methods of execution other than hanging by neck. A Bench led by C.J Dipak Misra said “A person should die in peace, not in pain. For, it has been said since centuries that nothing can be equated with painless death”.
