Supreme Court to Centre, States: Take Urgent Steps to Stop Cow Vigilantism - (06 Sep 2017)

Supreme Court has asked Centre and States to take urgent steps to stop cow vigilantism. The Apex Court has asked each state to appoint a senior police officer in each district as a nodal officer to take action against cow vigilantism.
