Madras HC Asks Karti Chidambaram to Approach Delhi High Court for quashing FIR - (23 Aug 2017)

Madras High Court has held that it would be appropriate if former Union Finance Minister P. Chidambaram’s son Karti Chidambaram approached the Delhi High Court for quashing a FIR registered against him by the CBI as well as the summons issued by the agency to him in connection with the INX Media case. It has invoked the doctrine of forum conveniens for doing so.
