Bombay HC Says 'Inmates of Open Prison Can Be Released on Furlough Without Surety' - (08 Aug 2017)

Bombay High Court has upheld decision of a full bench of High Court that held that under Prisons (Bombay Furlough And Parole) Rules, 1959, a convict confined in an open prison can be released on parole or furlough by sanctioning authorities without surety.
