Supreme Court Says 'Courts Duty Bound to Explain Reasons for Non-Acceptance of Contemnor' - (31 Jul 2017)

Supreme Court, while accepting apology of a cop who was punished for contempt by Punjab & Haryana High Court for arresting a man on anticipatory bail, has observed that Court is bound to explain as to why apology tendered by contemnor should not be accepted.
