Supreme Court Says 'NCTE Guidelines Binding', Teachers’ Eligibility Test Not Mandatory - (26 Jul 2017)

Supreme Court has held that qualifications prescribed by National Council for Teachers’ Education (NCTE) were binding on States and Teachers’ Eligibility Test (TET) is not mandatory.
