Bombay High Court: Caste of Mohammedans Can’t Be Decided On Basis of Surname - (21 Jul 2017)

Bombay High Court, while quashing and setting aside an order passed by Caste Scrutiny Committee, which invalidated caste claim of the petitioner, has said that such claim cannot be decided on the basis of his surname.
