LCI 270th Report: Registration of Marriage Should be Made Compulsory - (05 Jul 2017)

Law Commission of India has submitted its 270th Report titled ‘Compulsory Registration of Marriages’ to Government suggesting compulsory registration of marriages under law to prevent marriage frauds, bigamy, child marriages and desertions of women by their husband.
