Bombay High Court: State Government’s Decision to Hike Lease Rentals Not Arbitrary - (12 Jul 2024)

COMMERCIAL

Bom. HC has held that decision of State Govt. to calculate lease rent basing it on value of land given in ‘Ready Reckoner’ is not arbitrary and observed that when law mandates that Govt. has to be fair and reasonable in dealing with its citizens, it does not mean that the Govt. has to do charity.
