SC: Caution Must be Exercised by Trial Court in Accepting Dock Identification of Accused Without TIP - (12 Jul 2024)

CRIMINAL

Supreme Court has observed that in cases where the accused is a stranger to a witness and there has been no Test Identification Parade (TIP), the trial court should be very cautious while accepting the dock identification by such a witness.
