Ker. HC: Can’t Recall Child Witness to Fill Up Lacuna and Omission in Evidence of Accused - (24 May 2024)

CRIMINAL

Kerala High Court has held that as per the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 accused cannot recall a child witness for cross-examination in order to fill the lacuna in evidence or to fill up the omission at the instance of the counsel for the accused.
