Ker. HC: Unexplained Delay in Issuing Detention Order is Ground for Quashing - (02 Jun 2023)

CRIMINAL

Kerala High Court has held that as per the Kerala Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act, 2007, a detention order issued against a person can be quashed on the basis of unexplained delay caused in issuing the detention order after the last prejudicial activity of the detenu.
