SC: Trial Judge Has Duty to Ask Crucial Questions - (05 May 2023)

CRIMINAL

Supreme Court while observing that trial judge has tremendous powers to ask any question he pleases, in any form, at any time, of any witness, or of the parties about any fact relevant or irrelevant, has stated that they shouldn't be a mute spectator in the criminal proceedings.
